Overhead Linespersons - Australia

Gaia Global Ltd are seeking several qualified and experienced Overhead Lines Operatives for our client an Australian Tier 1 Infrastructure Company.

Full Time An amazing opportunity to relocate. This is a sponsored role and will require candidates to relocate within 3- 6 months.

As an integral part of the team you will assist in ensuring the network is maintained to ensure a reliable supply to customers all within applicable procedures, guidelines and standards in both planned and unplanned work scenarios as well as contributing to construction works under new projects and contracts.

You will be required to adhere to company procedures and standards as well as client requirements, and be responsible for ensuring safe work practices for yourself and your team members including identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with the group's core values and all associated legislative requirements.

Skills Requirements:

• Must hold a current certificate III in Power System Distribution/Transmission overhead (or equivalent)
• Min 3 years experience as an OHL within the last 5 years
• High Voltage Experience - minimum 132kv
• Must hold a valid passport
• Valid "C" class manual drivers license with the ability to upgrade to HR (HR license desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to work safely on distribution and/or transmission networks Values teamwork & safety as a priority.
